This guide covers everything you need to know about managing your MEMO subscription: how to cancel, how to restore purchases, and what to expect after your trial.


Your Trial

When you first download MEMO, you get a free trial to explore all features. During this time, you can:

At the end of your trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe to continue using MEMO.


How to Cancel Your Subscription

MEMO subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Here's how to cancel:

On iPhone/iPad

  1. Open the Settings app on your device
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find MEMO in your list of subscriptions
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

On Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions
  4. Find MEMO in your list
  5. Tap Cancel subscription

How to Restore Purchases

If you've previously subscribed and need to restore your access (for example, on a new device), here's how:

On iPhone/iPad

  1. Open MEMO
  2. Go to SettingsSubscription
  3. Tap Restore Purchases
  4. Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe

On Android

  1. Open MEMO
  2. Go to SettingsSubscription
  3. Tap Restore Purchases
  4. Make sure you're signed in with the same Google account

If restoration doesn't work, make sure you're using the same account that originally purchased the subscription.


What Happens After Your Trial Ends

If you don't subscribe after your trial:

We never delete your data. If you come back months later and subscribe, everything will be exactly as you left it.

Refund policies are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android), not directly by MEMO.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will I lose my data if I cancel? No. Your contacts, memos, and history are preserved. You'll have read-only access until you resubscribe.

Q: Can I switch from monthly to annual? Yes. Go to your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play), find MEMO, and choose a different plan. The change takes effect at your next billing date.

Q: I subscribed but still see the paywall. What do I do? Try tapping "Restore Purchases" in Settings. If that doesn't work, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe.

Q: Can I share my subscription with family? iOS Family Sharing and Google Play Family Library may allow sharing depending on your settings. Check your device's family sharing options.
